FULL TIME SCORE: SINGAPORE 2 - INDONESIA 1

I had a great time last night. Thanks to LN, Jh, Anna and Jh's fren, kelvin? Damn freakin' fun... Screaming Referee KAYU!!! BUTOH!! laughing at anna and her indonesian friends sitting at the obscure corner of the stadium with their sombre white attire, waving them goodbye when we scored the first goal at 6mins.

Joy of soccer. Now you know why they call it the greatest game. The atmosphere was better than NDP, presumably because there is nothing (i hope) pre-planned about the game. Each crunching tackle, each malicious foul, each stroke of genius. Sure, it wasn't the best finals i've seen. But it was a FINAL. a final that singapore last made it since 1998.

And to have dimsum with all the pple mentioned above? Priceless. It tops up a wonderful night, full of party, relishing in nationalistic fervour (though i think serving 2.5 yrs is still wasteful, 1.5 would be nenough), all in the company of fun and cheerful friends.

I even high fived a fellow stranger singaporean!! hahaa... football unites a country.

$7 for 2 hours of entertainment. And a free t-shirt!!! Extremely worth it, freakin' good bargain.
