i posted a review of my year on dec 28, 2010. it's been only 6 months since but i have felt i've changed more than what i hoped for

and i'm going to leave this place i've called home for the last 28 years and start a new chapter. it does not have an end date to it, and i wonder how different i will be after venturing forth.

Leaving Singapore

little did i know that in 2 weeks
life could change so much

i had drawn up plans for my future
and one decision changed it all

so the choice was made to venture forth
and these are some things that i have thought of

leaving a place is oh so easy
u pack your stuff and catch the flight
knowing when you will come back

leaving your home isn't the same
cos things won't be the same anymore

friends i've known for many years
they will move on in life as i have

i hope the people i meet will be like the ones here
all so friendly and living jovially

yet with all these thoughts on my mind
i will always remember one good advice

there won't be a better time to leave this place
and do things i have never done before
and i'll be back if it doesn't work out

for this is the meaning of life
to explore and understand yourself more

and it is certain that
at the end of the rainbow
the mountain will touch the sky
