i hope by writing this i can stave off my addiction. i love to shabu shabu... i can think of it for dinner everyday, esp. the cold weather now.... i have not experienced such craving for a particular type of food since i dno, when i was in p sch, i could have sambal kangkong everyday... or chicken wings bbq-ed/fried/braised... now it's this. the whole shabu process is so delightful. the marbled thin slice of beef... the boiling hot soup... dipping into raw egg... the scalding feeling when its put into the mouth, and then chewing on this moist textured of beef and egg... and then tasting the sweetness of the meat, and then finally finishing off with a small slurp of the miso soup.... and then another morsel of piping hot white rice... all this wrapping up with a great gulp of asahi beer.... it's not just the beef, but the cabbage, golden mushrooms, leeks... ahhh plse let me know if anyone is interested in having shabu shabu anytime soon!!!

i probably do my own shabu this wkend. i can't handle it anymore...!! feeling so alive, living to eat.... ahhhhhhhhh
