back from my phuket trip and no doubt it was really gd, did some water sports like rafting/banana boat... drove an all terrain vehicle, but what i really enjoyed was reading a gd book in the nice warm sun, relaxing on a deck chair with a chang beer in hand. it was almost too good... no thoughts on my mind, when nothingness enveloped the mind, and all left was to focus on the poetic words in the book... the smell of sea salt in the wind... the sureness that small beads of sweat would trickle down... the bubblyness of the choice drink
picked up a rather emotional book by haruki marukami, titled "Norwegian Wood" ... turning 26 means u would understand this book, having gone through ur own relationship woes, highs and lows. whilst not recommended if u want to just feel happy and high (gulping down the 2 bottles of sir johnnie would be a far better choice), it did make me feel alive again. as if i was the protagonist, and though this was a fictional story, i could imagine myself living the life he did - not that i desire to, but it was plausible. there are lines in the book which i could pick out and apply it to mine, and it would feel well relevant. powerful sentences with simple words, though if i could read japanese, i would re-read the book in the author's original penned lines.
as i looked through the viewfinder of my camera, i felt like an artist trying to compose the most beautiful frame. there was no peripheral vision to be concerned about, and all is a blur. it was just a 4 by 6 image... the sound of my breathing first and then the softer but crackling background noise. it felt like being in love - u look at the person through ur eyes and compose the most beautiful frame of her... there was no peripheral vision to be concerned about and all is a blur. it was just a 4 by 6 image... the sound of my breathing first and then the softer but crackling background noise.
